Introduction

Hello there 👋, and a warm welcome to my blog!

My name is Zhixi, but I prefer to be called ChangYo, as it is my pen name.

This page serves to introduce you to both this website and myself. However, I know it’s impossible to tell you every little detail about this Blog—that would surely bore my readers. Nor can I recount decades of experience here, even if my journey has been somewhat unique.

Therefore, I will keep my self-introduction concise, aiming only to give you a general impression. And I sincerely look forward to this: that you, my readers, will come to know the real me through the soul of my articles. 😊

I am a Computer Science and Technology student at the School of Computer Science, Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

I have a deep fondness for computing technology, reading, contemplation, and the craft of writing.

The pursuit of knowledge is often a long and solitary path, and it was the desire to crystallize my learning experiences that led to the creation of this very corner: ChangYo’s Blog.

Within these pages, you will find (and I hope, increasingly discover) my structured summaries and insights from my explorations in technology. My primary focus is C++, and I am continually advancing through my specialized curriculum. If these shared reflections can illuminate your own path, that is my greatest reward.

Yet, the scope here extends beyond the technical horizon. My intellectual curiosity embraces philosophy and political science, affording glimpses into my deeper contemplation and my personal musings on the currents of life.

This space was elegantly framed by the Jekyll framework, adopting the Minimal Mistakes theme, and was hosted on GitHub Pages. I began this construction without any foundational knowledge of front-end development, yet through the accelerated capabilities of AI, specifically with the assistance of Grok AI, I have been able to successfully lay its foundations. Nevertheless, I recognize that the journey to refine and perfect this site is a continuous and winding one.

Nearly eight months later, I started work on the second version. By then, AI had become significantly more powerful, and I hoped to complete a thorough reconstruction with its help. I spent nearly a month drafting the refactoring plan. Unfortunately, about another month later, I ended up rebuilding the site from scratch once again so I hadn’t leave a picture of my 2nd blog site.

Then came the third version. I drew inspiration from some excellent blog sites I had read and admired. After going through many things, I began to place greater emphasis on functionality, simplicity, and the reading experience of my audience. To that end, I carefully selected color schemes and designed layouts to better present my posts. If you have visited my site before, you may notice that I have become more restrained in sharing my contact information. This is because I hope readers can get to know me through my articles—when you truly become interested in me, we will naturally find a way to connect.

With that, my initial introduction concludes.

May your time here be filled with rewarding discoveries. 😊

We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time.
